The page on the left is made up of mostly of the main image in black and white, a different photo of a band member is overlaid on the background, there is a caption on the sub image telling the reader who that member is and what he plays. There is very little text here because this is the first page of this article and it needs to get the reader's attention and interest through images, then the next page involves more text to find out more information once the reader is engaged with the storyline. The images continue on the second pages showing other members of the band.
The cover line title is made up of a quote and the middle line is white whilst the top and bottom are red. This is to point out the key phrase of the headline. There is a drop capital at the start of the opening paragraph to help the reader to get started in reading the article.
